Job Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented and hands-on Warehouse & Production Control Coordinator to own the daily organization, cleanliness, safety, and accuracy of the warehouse while supporting production control, inventory transactions, job staging, receiving, and shipping activities through the ERP system. This role is responsible for ensuring materials are properly received, labeled, stored, issued, staged, and shipped. The ideal candidate is organized, dependable, comfortable working in both the warehouse and ERP system, and willing to take on a wide range of responsibilities in a small manufacturing business. Key Responsibilities
      Warehouse Ownership, Safety & Organization:
      Own the day-to-day organization, cleanliness, and safety of the warehouse, including keeping walkways, staging areas, shipping/receiving areas, shelves, and work areas clean and free of unnecessary clutter.
        Receiving & Inspection:
        Receive incoming materials; verify purchase orders against receipts; check product, part numbers, quantities, and descriptions against the purchase order; and count product to confirm accuracy.
          Inventory Marking & Put Away:
          Mark and label all inventory with the correct part number, ensure material is properly identified, and put material away on shelves or stage it with the correct job.
            ERP Inventory Transactions:
            Receive inventory into Epicor, verify bin locations, update inventory data, and ensure inventory is stored in the correct ERP and physical location.
              Material Issuing:
              Receive pick tickets, pick materials, and issue material in Epicor for jobs, vendor work, inventory material, parts orders, and rake material as required.
                Job Staging:
                Stage materials for scheduled production jobs, clearly label staged materials with the correct job number and part information, and verify staged materials match the job traveler, BOM, and engineering packet when needed.
                  Production Job Creation:
                  Create jobs in Epicor from sales orders and ensure the jobs are properly linked to the sales order.
                    BOM & Operation Review:
                    Review jobs to ensure BOMs and operations are correct, compare requirements with the engineering packet, confirm raw materials are in stock, and communicate shortages or discrepancies before release.
                      Job Scheduling & Release:
                      Add proper comments to jobs, schedule and release jobs in Epicor, and print job travelers, drawings, and job packets as needed.
                        Stock Jobs & Replenishment:
                        Support stock jobs by reviewing min/max reports, creating jobs in Epicor, checking material availability, scheduling, releasing, printing, and closing jobs as required.
                          Job Closing & Manufacturing Receipts:
                          Verify labor has been entered, count completed parts, process manufacturing receipts in Epicor, close jobs in Epicor, and ensure completed inventory is moved to the correct location.
                            Shipping Support:
                            Pick parts, pack orders, check orders, ship in Epicor, process shipments through UPS, FedEx, XPO, or other carriers, and create shipping reports.
                              International Paperwork:
                              Prepare international shipping paperwork when needed and support proper documentation for export shipments.
                                Cycle Counts & Inventory Accuracy:
                                Perform cycle counts, investigate inventory discrepancies, and support ongoing improvements to inventory accuracy.
                                  Small Business Support:
                                  Assist with additional warehouse, production, inventory, receiving, job staging, and shipping tasks as needed to keep operations moving in a small business environment. Qualifications
                                    Education:
                                    High school diploma or equivalent required. Additional education or training in supply chain, inventory, logistics, manufacturing, or business administration is preferred.
                                      Experience:
                                      1-3 years of experience in warehouse, inventory control, shipping/receiving, production control, or manufacturing support preferred.
                                        ERP Knowledge:
                                        ERP system experience required. Epicor experience is strongly preferred, including inventory transactions, job creation, material issuing, manufacturing receipts, and job closing.
                                          Inventory & Warehouse Skills:
                                          Ability to count, label, organize, stage, issue, and track materials accurately while maintaining a clean and safe warehouse.
                                            Production Documentation:
                                            Ability to read and follow purchase orders, pick tickets, job travelers, BOMs, engineering packets, drawings, and basic production documents.
                                              Skills & Competencies:
                                              Strong attention to detail, accurate data entry, good follow-up, clear communication, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced small business environment.
                                                Physical Requirements:
                                                Ability to stand, walk, lift, move materials, and work in a warehouse and manufacturing environment as needed. Preferred Skills
                                                • Epicor or similar manufacturing ERP experience.
                                                • Experience creating, scheduling, releasing, staging, and closing jobs in an ERP system.
                                                • Experience with BOMs, routings, job packets, inventory transactions, and manufacturing receipts.
                                                • Shipping experience with UPS, FedEx, XPO, or freight carriers.
                                                • Experience preparing international shipping paperwork.
                                                • Forklift experience is a plus.
                                                • Overhead crane experience is a plus. Work Environment
                                                • This is a hands-on position that works in the warehouse, production area, shipping/receiving area, and ERP system.
                                                • This role supports a small manufacturing business and may be asked to assist with other operational needs as priorities change.
                                                • The employee is expected to help maintain a clean, safe, organized, and professional work environment at all times.
                                                Suggested Salary Range $26 - $34 per hour
