Job Title:
Warehouse Supervisor Job Summary Oversees the entire physical operation, responsible for maintaining an optimum level of merchandise production and supervision of production associates. Assures the flow of merchandise through the warehouse to maximize the recycling process, supporting vendors and minimize excess waste. Pay Rate:
$23.97/hour Essential Functions Complete operational requirements by scheduling and assigning one or more employees. Promote productivity by following up with employees on work results. Set expectations, instruct, coach and identify training needs. Demonstrates cultural competency. Resolve workplace problems by addressing issues that impact employee performance and productivity. Coordinates dock efforts with forklift driver, transportation and warehouse managers. Prepare reports by collecting, documenting and summarizing information. Complete projects by planning, organizing and monitoring assignments. Oversee baling of salvage textiles and the sorts of scrap metal and E-waste and all other recyclable materials. Requisitions warehouse supplies as needed and maintain inventories on hand. Maintain a clean work environment. Build and maintain internal and external customer satisfaction. Uphold safe work practices in support of a safety culture through awareness and observation; assist in safety training of employees; reports any potential hazards or accidents. Participates in the functions of production worker, promoting team work as needed. Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed. Perform other duties as assigned. Minimum Job Requirements Education:
High School Diploma or Equivalent Experience:
2 years warehouse production, 1 year Supervisory experience or equivalent Specific Skills/Knowledge/Licenses:
Seattle Goodwill Forklift Certification. Essential Physical Abilities:
Lifting and carrying 30 - 40 pounds; Developed fine motor control (grasp, handle, manipulate objects with fingers; Standing for long periods of time; frequent bending, kneeling, reaching, stooping, squatting, pushing; climbing ladders; Able to travel across a variety of surfaces (stairs, ramps, uneven terrain) forklift driving Essential Mental/Sensory Abilities:
Organizing, sorting, categorizing, counting, adding, subtracting, Interpreting data Problem Solving Communicating with the public Creating written communication, clear written and verbal. Computer skills to include P.O.S. knowledge. Completing written orders Working Conditions:
