This position oversees warehouse personnel, inventory management, storage vault operations, equipment accountability, fleet support activities, and facility maintenance. The Warehouse Supervisor ensures all customer goods, company assets, and warehouse operations are managed accurately, safely, and professionally while supporting local, commercial, and long-distance moving operations. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, accountable, and capable of leading warehouse personnel while maintaining a clean, secure, and efficient operation. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Warehouse Operations Supervise all day-to-day warehouse activities and personnel. Maintain a safe, clean, organized, and professional warehouse environment. Coordinate receiving, storage, and retrieval of customer goods. Ensure proper storage and handling of household goods, commercial assets, and specialty items. Monitor warehouse productivity and workflow efficiency. Develop and maintain warehouse procedures and operational standards. Conduct regular warehouse inspections and audits. Inventory Management Maintain accurate inventory records for customer goods and company assets. Oversee vaulting, palletization, racking, and storage systems. Perform routine cycle counts and full inventory audits. Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies. Maintain accountability for moving supplies, packing materials, equipment, and company-owned assets. Ensure inventory management systems are utilized correctly and consistently. Customer Storage Management Oversee storage-in and storage-out operations. Verify inventory documentation and storage paperwork accuracy. Coordinate customer access appointments and storage retrieval requests. Ensure customer goods are properly tagged, inventoried, and secured. Maintain chain-of-custody procedures for all stored items. Safety and Compliance Promote a strong culture of safety and accountability. Conduct regular safety inspections and corrective actions. Ensure OSHA, DOT, FMCSA, and company safety requirements are followed. Maintain compliance with warehouse security and loss prevention procedures. Fleet and Equipment Support Monitor warehouse equipment including forklifts, pallet jacks, hand trucks, and moving equipment. Maintain equipment inspection and maintenance records. Coordinate repairs and preventative maintenance activities. Track company-owned equipment and ensure proper accountability. Support fleet readiness initiatives as assigned. Facility Management Maintain warehouse appearance and operational readiness. Coordinate facility repairs and maintenance needs. Ensure security systems, access controls, alarms, and surveillance systems are functioning properly. Monitor facility expenses and identify cost-saving opportunities. Assist with warehouse layout improvements and space optimization. Administrative Responsibilities Maintain accurate operational records and reporting. Prepare inventory, storage, safety, and productivity reports. Track warehouse KPIs and operational metrics. Assist management with budgeting and planning initiatives. Participate in operational meetings and planning sessions. Qualifications Required 3+ years of warehouse, logistics, moving and storage, or inventory management experience. 1+ years of supervisory or leadership experience. Strong inventory control and organizational skills. Experience operating forklifts and warehouse equipment. Ability to lead teams in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency with Microsoft Office/Google Workspace and warehouse management software. Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record. Ability to pass background check and pre-employment screening. Preferred Household Goods (HHG) moving and storage experience. Commercial relocation experience. Warehouse Management System (WMS) experience. OSHA safety training or certification. DOT and FMCSA familiarity. Forklift certification. Physical Requirements Ability to lift and move up to 75 pounds.
