This position serves as the primary lead for inventory and returns activities while also providing operational support and cross-functional coverage for Receiving and Shipping departments as needed. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, highly organized, and capable of leading warehouse associates while maintaining a strong focus on inventory control, problem-solving, and customer service. Key Responsibilities Inventory & Returns Investigate, recount, and determine root causes of inventory discrepancies. Maintain inventory accuracy through cycle counts, audits, and system research. Coordinate with Security and Returns teams regarding inbound returns and inventory concerns. Track and maintain all product downgrades and upgrades within company systems and Excel logs. Verify accuracy of newly created product labels. Monitor inventory-related emails and provide timely responses. Research inventory variances and communicate findings to management. Maintain accurate daily, weekly, monthly, and annual inventory records. Warehouse Operations Load and unload appliances and electronics safely and efficiently. Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently. Move and store merchandise in designated warehouse locations. Pick, stage, and prepare orders for shipment. Verify freight for accuracy and inspect for damage. Utilize warehouse systems, scanners, computers, and related technology. Assist in maintaining warehouse security, safety, and housekeeping standards. Leadership & Team Support Assist with planning and assigning daily work activities. Support Operations Supervisors in managing workflow and staffing needs. Conduct staffing audits and communicate manpower requirements. Assist with daily stand-up meetings and operational communications. Train and mentor warehouse associates. Support supervisors during absences and provide coverage as needed. Assist in achieving departmental KPIs and operational goals. Complete opening and closing duties. Cross-train in Receiving, Shipping, and other Lead functions. Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications Required:
Warehouse experience in Inventory Control, Returns, Receiving, or Shipping. Strong inventory research and problem-solving abilities. Experience with cycle counts and inventory discrepancy investigations. Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Teams, email, and warehouse systems. Strong communication, organization, and leadership skills. Ability to operate material handling equipment or obtain certification. Ability to lift and move appliances and electronics safely.
Preferred:
Previous Lead or supervisory experience in a warehouse or distribution center. Experience with consumer appliances, electronics, or high-value inventory. Experience with inventory control, audits, and root cause analysis. What We're Looking For We are seeking a hands-on leader who takes ownership of inventory accuracy, enjoys solving problems, and can effectively support warehouse operations. This individual will serve as the primary resource for Inventory and Returns while providing cross-functional support to Receiving and Shipping teams. Success in this role requires strong attention to detail, accountability, and the ability to lead by example in a fast-paced distribution environment.

LG Appliances & Electronics Additional Requirements & Schedule Expectations Must be available to work the first weekend of each month to support Internal Physical Inventory (PI) activities. If Internal PI is rescheduled, availability for an alternate weekend may be required. Must be willing and able to work overtime and additional weekend hours based on business needs, inventory projects, or operational demands. Provide temporary leadership support and backfill for Receiving, Shipping, Inventory, and Returns Lead positions as needed. Cross-train in Receiving, Shipping, Inventory Control, and Returns functions to ensure operational flexibility and continuity. Provide support and guidance to Inventory/Returns Clerks and Shipping/Receiving Clerks as needed. Assist Inbound and Outbound Operations during periods of increased volume, staffing shortages, or special projects. Maintain flexibility to shift priorities and support multiple warehouse functions while ensuring operational goals are achieved. Preferred Leadership Traits Strong inventory control and root-cause analysis skills. Ability to adapt quickly to changing operational priorities. Self-motivated and capable of working independently with minimal supervision. Strong communication and teamwork skills.
