!!! IEA manufactures large scale radiators/fans, sound solutions for data centers, steel and aluminum components and more that require material handling, metal fabrication, welding, and heavy assembly with pneumatic hand tools, hoists and cranes.

Job Summary:

The Shipping Coordinator is responsible for outgoing shipments of finished parts, raw materials and other components. Depending on the time of day, the Shipping Coordinator may work either shipping, receiving or be responsible for both activities. This individual receives limited direction from the Shipping/Receiving Supervisor, develops unit work plans on both a short- and long-term basis, and resolves most problems independently. The Shipping Coordinator is directly responsible for ensuring the accurate and timely receipt/shipment of ordered/sold items including proper storage of finished goods or raw materials on an interim or long-term basis. This individual is responsible for the quality and quantity of all work in the Shipping area and is expected to follow Six Sigma principles and constantly monitor and help control labor and material costs. The Shipping Coordinator is expected to practice and adhere to the Company's Six Sigma principles. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following with other duties assigned as necessary : Organizes and directs shipping/receiving activities including: Monitoring outgoing/incoming shipments, verifying contents of each shipment, directing loading/unloading of transports, mandating adherence to IEA/ArcRon safety practices by vendors on Company property, and allocating plant space for storage. Maintaining all shipping/receiving records. Troubleshoots and solves shipping/receiving problems. Makes final shop floor interpretation/decisions on shipping/receiving issues. Functions as the Company's liaison to establish/maintain positive working relationships with ArcRon's vendors, transport companies as well as IEA staff at the Kenosha Plant. Analyses shipping/receiving data to identify trends, customer needs, performance deficiencies, and organizational needs. Evaluates shipping options and determines best cost/performance alternatives. Coordinates shipping/receiving activities with other ArcRon and IEA divisions. Assure us that all assigned areas and equipment are properly maintained and utilized efficiently. Actively participates as the shipping/receiving leader in the Company's safety programs to ensure that all assigned employees are aware of and always follow safety work practices. Ensures that all work is performed in accordance with and adheres to IEA's ISO and Quality standards. Physical Demands:

Maximum lifting requirement (pounds): 75 (infrequently), 25 (frequently). Maximum moving requirement (pounds): 100 (with assistance). Maintaining physical condition necessary for the following: Frequent standing, walking, sitting, kneeling, crouching, stooping, squatting, twisting upper body, or climbing. Working at heights off the ground up to 10 feet.

Vision requirements:

Close, distance, and peripheral vision; depth perception.

Work Environment:

Work location(s): Metal fabrication/welding/assembly shop, plant grounds, shop office with computer.

Exposure to:

Hot objects (burns), glare (flashing), sparks and flying objects (metal chips and scale), fumes, airborne particles, toxic/caustic chemicals, moving mechanical parts/equipment, wet/humid (non-weather) conditions, inclement weather conditions, moving mechanical equipment, and noise levels of 85dBA or above.

Personal protective equipment requirement:

Safety glasses, ANSI safety shoes. Hardhat, gloves, outwear and ear protection as necessary.

Position Requirements:

Key skills, abilities and knowledge: Ability to communicate (oral/written) effectively. Ability to build and maintain positive customer/vendor relationships Ability to plan, organize and direct multiple work activities simultaneously. Basic knowledge of metal fabrication processes, techniques and materials. Introductory knowledge of radiator manufacturing—parts, materials and methods. Working knowledge of traffic/logistics fundamentals. Ability to read, understand and interpret shipping/receiving documents. Ability to operate material handling equipment. Knowledge of occupational hazards and the ability to follow safe work practices.

Experiential:

Three or more years of shipping/receiving operations or related manufacturing experience.

Educational:

Associate degree in traffic management/logistics or related technical area is desirable. Certificates, Licenses, etc.: Forklift operator certification; driver's license.
