Job Description

Overview Join our dynamic warehouse team as a Warehouse Associate and become a vital part of our fast-paced distribution operation! In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth flow of goods through accurate inventory management, efficient materials handling, and safe operation of heavy equipment. This position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in warehouse management systems, heavy equipment operation, and order fulfillment while contributing to a collaborative and energetic work environment. Responsibilities Safely operate heavy equipment such as forklifts, reach trucks, cranes, pallet jacks, and order pickers to load, unload, and transport materials within the warehouse. Manage inventory control through accurate stock counting, cycle counting, and updating warehouse management systems. Perform order picking and packing using RF scanners and other tools to ensure precise order fulfillment for shipping & receiving. Handle materials with mechanical knowledge of packaging techniques to prepare products for shipment or storage. Maintain a clean, organized warehouse environment by stocking shelves, organizing inventory, and adhering to OSHA safety standards. Assist with shipping & receiving processes by verifying inbound and outbound shipments, completing necessary documentation, and ensuring proper load & unload procedures. Operate heavy equipment responsibly during manufacturing or construction-related tasks when required. Support warehouse supervisor in daily operations by participating in inventory management activities and reporting any discrepancies or safety concerns. Experience Prior warehouse experience is highly preferred; familiarity with warehouse distribution processes is a plus. Hands-on experience operating forklifts, reach trucks, cranes, pallet jacks, or order pickers is essential; certification is advantageous. Knowledge of inventory management systems such as AS400 or similar ERP platforms is beneficial. Mechanical aptitude with an understanding of materials handling equipment and safety protocols under OSHA guidelines. Experience in shipping & receiving, order picking & packing, or manufacturing environments will help you excel in this role. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently while maintaining attention to detail during stock stocking or order fulfillment tasks. $17.00 - $19.00 per hour
