Job Title:
Warehouse Associate Job Description This role supports a clean, climate-controlled data center warehouse by performing a variety of tasks across build, dock, kitting, and pharmacy departments. You will handle inventory, material movement, and order fulfillment while using basic warehouse tools and computer systems to keep operations running smoothly and accurately. Responsibilities Perform general warehouse duties in a data center environment across build, dock, kitting, and pharmacy departments as operational needs require. Use RF scanners to pick, pack, and track inventory accurately, ensuring materials are correctly labeled, stored, and recorded. Operate pallet jacks safely to load, move, and stage materials for outbound shipping and receiving activities. Support shipping and receiving operations by staging materials, assisting with warehouse inventory tasks, and handling materials efficiently. Work in the Build Department to physically move materials, including picking up and relocating servers and related equipment, using team lifts for items up to 50 lbs. Work in the Kitting Department using a computer to verify inventory accuracy, complete data entry tasks, and respond promptly to internal client requests. Maintain accurate inventory records by performing data entry and verifying counts in the Kitting and Pharmacy departments. Support the Pharmacy Department by receiving requests from internal teams, locating and picking specific materials from storage, and issuing them in a timely manner. Follow established processes and safety guidelines while performing general labor tasks such as material handling, staging, and organizing warehouse areas. Complete initial training on the first shift for 1-2 weeks and then transition to the assigned night or second shift schedule as required. Collaborate with team members to complete team lifts and ensure safe handling of heavier items. Maintain a clean and orderly work area, contributing to the overall organization and efficiency of the warehouse. Essential Skills Experience with general warehouse work, including inventory handling, picking, packing, and material handling. Ability to use RF scanners for picking, packing, and tracking inventory. Ability to operate a pallet jack safely for loading, unloading, and staging materials. Basic data entry skills and comfort using computers, particularly for inventory management and responding to internal requests. Capability to perform physical tasks, including lifting and moving materials with team lifts up to 50 lbs. Willingness to train on first shift for 1-2 weeks and then transition to a night or second shift schedule. Reliability in following established procedures for shipping, receiving, and warehouse inventory. Attention to detail to ensure inventory accuracy and timely fulfillment of internal requests. MUST HAVE
composite toe shoes. Steel toe shoes are not allowed. Prior experience in shipping and receiving is beneficial. Previous exposure to warehouse inventory processes is an advantage. Experience working in a clean, climate-controlled warehouse or data center environment is helpful. Comfort working in different departments, such as build, dock, kitting, and pharmacy, based on operational needs. Strong communication skills to interact with internal teams requesting materials. Ability to adapt to structured schedules, including second or night shifts. Why Work Here? Work Environment The work environment is a clean, climate-controlled data center warehouse with defined departmental areas for build, dock, kitting, and pharmacy operations. You will train on a first shift schedule for 1-2 weeks before moving to an assigned shift. Typical shift options include night shift from 7:30 p.m. to 4:00 a.m. Monday through Thursday, as well as weekday second shifts such as 6:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. or 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., depending on department needs. The role involves using RF scanners, pallet jacks, and computer systems for inventory and data entry tasks. Work includes physical material handling with team lifts for items up to 50 lbs, particularly in the Build Department. The facility offers onsite meals and snacks and maintains an organized, professional atmosphere with consistent schedules and minimal overtime. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Bridgeport, AL. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $20.40 - $20.40/hr.
