The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to working safely, demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced environment, a strong desire to learn manufacturing processes and operating complex machinery and have a desire to advance within the company. Candidates for consideration must be able to do the following:
• Work safely and follow Safety rules and regulations. 2. Ability to operate various manufacturing equipment, follow specific directions, operate power hand tools, and other duties assigned. 3. Maintain a clean work environment. 4. Be able to lift, push, or pull 50lbs., navigate stairs, stand, walk, bend, and kneel through the entire shift. 5. Be willing to work ANY shift. 6. Be willing to work Overtime, as it may be required on occasion. 7. Work in a non-climate-controlled environment(hot/cold) 8. Stand on their feet for up to 12 hours per day. 9. Must have basic math and computer skills, be able to read a tape measure, and be able to read/write/communicate in English. 10. Ability to adhere to WestRock's policies and procedures.
