Phenix City, AL Temporary-to-hire opportunity with long-term potential Weekly pay with direct deposit or pay card Opportunity to work with a leading distributor of licensed sports merchandise and collectibles Job Description We are seeking dependable and detail-oriented General Warehouse Associates to support daily warehouse operations in a fast-paced distribution environment. This role plays a key part in ensuring products are accurately received, stored, organized, and shipped in a timely manner. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong work ethic , reliability, and the ability to work effectively as part of a team. Forklift or cherry picker experience is a plus and may be utilized based on certification and business needs.
Responsibilities:
Perform general warehouse duties including receiving, sorting, staging, and storing inventory Accurately pick, pack, and prepare merchandise for shipment when assigned Load and unload inbound and outbound shipments safely and efficiently Inspect products for accuracy, damage, or discrepancies and report issues promptly Maintain organized stock locations and assist with inventory management Operate RF scanners or other tracking systems to update inventory records (if applicable) Assist with order fulfillment and shipping preparation as needed Support cycle counts and physical inventory audits Ensure all products are handled with care to maintain quality standards Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment in compliance with safety procedures Operate forklifts or cherry pickers when certified and assigned
Qualifications and Requirements:
Previous warehouse, distribution, or logistics experience preferred Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with accuracy and efficiency Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to lift up to 50 pounds as needed Ability to stand, walk, bend, and reach for extended periods Reliable attendance and punctuality are essential Ability to follow verbal and written instructions Team-oriented mindset with strong communication skills
