Requirements:
High School Diploma or equivalent. Must have knowledge of and work in a safe manner. Able to read numbers and letters in sequential order. About the
Role:
The Material Handler Level 1 associates perform tasks such as moving boards/sticks/components from location to location by hand based on the specifications of the material.
Your Responsibilities:
Maintains a consistent flow of materials as necessary. Assures that materials are within quality criteria and properly orientated. Process non-conforming materials per process requirements. Fixes jams and or piles of materials on conveyors and in machinery. May be required to do other duties as requested by coordinator or supervisor. Performs some housekeeping in work area as needed.

One Wabash Physical Demands:
Requires minimum of 9-10 hours standing, walking, bending, squatting, kneeling, with a full range of body mechanics/movements Occasionally required to lift and carry up to 50 pounds Must be able to work in an environment requiring use of stairs and climbing in and out of trucks or working in tight spaces. Utilize personal protective equipment (PPE)
Working Conditions and Environment:
The work environment includes exposure to high decibels of noise, temperature, weather variations, metal welding processes and chemicals, which may include solvents, undercoating, paint, and caulking. Fast paced environment with moving equipment and motorized vehicles running at all times.
