We are seeking a dependable and motivated Distribution Forklift professional for one of our client partners in Little Rock, AR. This position is responsible for safely operating forklifts and other material handling equipment in a fast-paced warehouse and distribution environment. The Distribution Forklift role plays an important part in ensuring products are moved efficiently throughout the facility, shipments are loaded and unloaded accurately, and inventory is maintained in an organized manner.
The ideal candidate for this Distribution Forklift position will have strong attention to detail, a commitment to workplace safety, and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team. Candidates should be comfortable working an 8-hour shift while maintaining productivity and following all company policies and procedures. Key Responsibilities
Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely and efficiently
Load and unload incoming and outgoing shipments
Move materials throughout the warehouse and distribution areas
Stack, organize, and store products in designated locations
Assist with inventory control and product tracking
Inspect forklifts daily to ensure proper operation and report maintenance concerns
Follow all safety guidelines and warehouse procedures
Maintain a clean and organized work environment
Assist with shipping, receiving, and general warehouse duties as needed
Work closely with supervisors and team members to meet daily production goals
Ensure products are handled carefully to prevent damage
Support overall warehouse operations during assigned shifts
Qualifications
Previous forklift experience preferred
Ability to safely operate warehouse equipment
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to lift, move, and carry materials as needed
Comfortable working in a fast-paced warehouse environment
Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
Ability to stand, bend, and move throughout the shift
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Forklift certification is a plus, but not required depending on experience
Must follow all workplace safety standards and procedures
