Job Description

Your tasks We are seeking a diligent and safety-conscious Warehouse Associate II to join our team, supporting our inbound, internal processing, and outbound operations. In this vital role, you will be responsible for a variety of warehouse activities, with a primary focus on operating Powered Industrial Truck (PIT) equipment to ensure efficient material flow and accurate order fulfillment.
Key Responsibilities:
Powered Industrial Truck (PIT)
Operation:
Utilize various PIT equipment (e.g., Turret, Man-Up, Center-rider, Standup forklift) to pick parts/materials, verifying materials and quantities, and moving them to designated processing areas. Operate PITs safely and efficiently, adhering to all site safety policies and procedures.
Material Preparation & Movement:
Prepare parts/materials for the next step in processing by accurately verifying materials and quantities. Move materials to proper areas, ensuring smooth workflow.
Packaging Operations:
Utilize various packaging materials to accurately pack customer orders according to standard work instructions.
Equipment Operation:
Operate a variety of hand-powered material handling equipment. Operate semi-automated and automated packaging equipment, as well as scales and postage meters.
Record Keeping & General Duties:
Maintain accurate records pertaining to receiving, stock management, inventory, and shipping (e.g., checklists). Perform other assigned duties as needed.
Overall Responsibilities Include:
Ensuring strict adherence to site safety policies and procedures in compliance with corporate directives. Performing assigned warehouse activities that require the safe and efficient operation of PIT equipment. Executing a variety of functions across Inbound, Pick/Pack, and Outbound operations. Engaging in material handling, packaging, applying correct labels, and confirming part identity by comparing details. Participating in receiving, assembling, and storage of parts, materials, and products. Performing work to standard using printed documents and other written and verbal instructions. Your profile
Education:
High School Diploma/GED
REQUIRED
Technical/Vocational education
PREFERRED
Special License/PIT Certification
PREFERRED
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Ability to use computer terminals and RF scanners: Comfortable with basic computer navigation and operating RF scanning devices.
Good communication and teamwork:

Maintains an organized workspace and follows 6S principles (Sort, Set in Order, Shine, Standardize, Sustain, Safety). Ability to operate Powered Industrial Truck (PIT) including Turret, Man-Up, Center-rider, or Standup forklift: Experience or a willingness to learn and operate various PIT equipment safely and efficiently.
Basic Math, Reading, Writing:
Basic understanding of math concepts, ability to read and comprehend instructions, and legible writing skills.
Measuring Equipment:
Basic ability to use and read measuring equipment.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift, push, pull, and carry objects up to 50 pounds regularly, and up to 75 pounds with assistance. Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, and reach for extended periods. Ability to work in various environmental conditions common to a warehouse setting (e.g., varying temperatures, noise levels). Must be able to safely operate Powered Industrial Truck (PIT) equipment.
