Job Title:
Warehouse Distribution Worker Job Description This role supports a busy medical device distribution center by accurately picking, packing, receiving, and shipping customer orders while maintaining inventory integrity and a clean, organized warehouse. You work across inbound receiving and outbound order fulfillment, ensuring products are handled correctly and orders are completed with a high level of accuracy and efficiency. Responsibilities Perform inbound receiving activities, including unloading freight, receiving product, verifying accuracy against documentation, and placing items in assigned warehouse locations. Pick customer orders using RF scanners and other warehouse tools, ensuring products are selected accurately according to order specifications. Pack customer orders securely and efficiently to prepare them for shipment, following established procedures and quality standards. Ship customer orders with a high level of accuracy and efficiency, including preparing labels, staging shipments, and coordinating with carriers as needed. Move pallets and boxes to appropriate areas of the warehouse to maintain safe and efficient workflows. Assist with general warehouse duties, including lifting and moving boxes and materials as required by business needs. Participate in all physical inventory counts and cycle count activities to support inventory integrity and stock accuracy. Support shipping and receiving operations as needed, including loading and unloading freight. Maintain the warehouse in a clean, organized, and safe manner, following housekeeping standards and contributing to an orderly work environment. Essential Skills Experience working in a distribution warehouse environment with responsibilities in picking, packing, shipping, and receiving. Demonstrated ability to perform pick and pack functions with a high degree of accuracy to ensure customer satisfaction. Experience using RF scanners or similar handheld devices for order selection and inventory management. Ability to perform general labor tasks, including lifting, moving, and organizing boxes and pallets. History working in a regulated environment such as medical device, pharmaceutical, or other FDA-regulated operations. Strong attention to detail and accuracy in order selection, product verification, and documentation. Ability to maintain inventory integrity through careful handling, storage, and participation in inventory counts. Additional Skills & Qualifications Familiarity with medical device or pharmaceutical distribution processes. Comfort working with standard warehouse equipment and technology. Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and established standard operating procedures. Strong organizational skills to maintain a clean and orderly work area. Reliability and consistency in meeting shift schedules and productivity expectations. Team-oriented mindset with the ability to assist across different warehouse functions as needed. Why Work Here? Work Environment This position is based in a medical device distribution facility with a clean, organized warehouse environment. The role follows an 11:00 am to 7:30 pm shift, with work on the front end of the shift starting earlier as needed. You work in a regulated setting, handling medical device products and supporting distribution operations. The facility uses RF scanners and standard warehouse equipment, and maintains clear housekeeping standards to ensure an orderly and safe workspace. Dress code is typical for a warehouse environment, with practical attire suitable for physical work and adherence to any facility-specific safety and cleanliness requirements. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Avondale, AZ. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $17.50 - $17.50/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
