Job Summary:

The Materials Handler will transport materials, supplies, and finished products to designated locations.

Duties/Responsibilities:

Process and handle materials for fabrication department Work with fabrication team to maintain a safe, organized, and clean work environment. Use WMS system with bar-code scanners to accurately reconcile inventory Support fabrication processes by sourcing tooling and axillary items in shop Stack and band materials by manual lifting and cranes Transport materials to and from yard and warehouse using forklifts Collects and properly disposes of scrap bracing, cardboard, and strapping Return necessary product to stock; finished goods, leftover materials, excess materials, etc. Performs other related duties as assigned.

Required Skills/Abilities:

Excellent verbal communication skills. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Good math and written communication skills. Efficient time management skills. Forklift experience.

Education and Experience:

High school diploma or equivalent required; college coursework or other formal training in related field preferred.

Physical Requirements:

Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds at a time.
