Madden Industrial Craftsmen, a premier staffing agency, is looking to fill a General Laborer position with a manufacturing company located in Phoenix, AZ. General Laborer Requirements At least 1 year of manufacturing, fabrication, construction, or industrial labor experience. Experience using power tools such as grinders, drills, nail guns, impact drivers, or similar hand tools. Comfortable assisting multiple departments, including assembly, machine operation, shipping & receiving, and material handling. Experience operating or working around overhead cranes or other lifting equipment is a plus. Experience working with sheet metal, steel, aluminum, copper, coils, or other metal products preferred. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work on your feet throughout the shift. Reliable, safety-conscious, and able to adapt to changing production needs. Must pass a drug screen. Responsibilities Support multiple production departments as needed. Assist assemblers and machine operators with production. Load, unload, and move materials throughout the facility. Use hand and power tools to complete production tasks. Assist Shipping & Receiving with material movement and staging. Help maintain production flow by filling in where needed. Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean work area.
