•Paid LunchThe Material Handler is responsible for moving material from one position/location to another throughout the plant.
On/off-loading of product from tables, rolling racks, delivery trucks or wood crates.
Ensure TLF is stocked and saws, FIFO woodResponsible to put product away within 24 hours after receiving.
Responsible for completeness of paperwork to include transfer sheets.
Responsible for bin accuracy, cycle count and loading trucks with forklift.
Replenish materials at each machine as required to maintain required stock levels.
Responsible for loading/unloading trucks.
Responsible to communicate any materials issues with the line lead.
Drive forklift and other equipment as transportation of inventory to designated locations.
Monitor stock levels and report any discrepancies.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
QualificationsMinimum of high school diploma or GED required.
Ability to work in all assigned areas of production; perform relief duties when required.
Ability to follow directions and work cohesively in a team environment.
Ability to read and interpret basic mathematical measurements and how to use/read a tape measure.
Must be able to read and understand paperwork and labels.
Understanding of and the ability to abide by applicable proscribed personal protective equipment (PPE).Ability to quickly learn production equipment.
Ability to drive a forklift.
Ability to adhere to our attendance policy; regular and acceptable punctuality and attendance is required.
