Job Description

Warehouse Attendant Position Summary:
The Warehouse Attendant is responsible for supporting daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storing, organizing, and distributing goods. This role ensures accurate inventory management, maintains a clean and safe work environment, and supports overall efficiency in warehouse functions.

Warehouse Manager Role Responsibilities:
Warehouse Operations:
Receive, inspect, and document incoming goods to ensure accuracy and quality. Store materials in designated locations, maintaining proper organization and labeling. Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipping according to established procedures. Load and unload trucks safely and efficiently using appropriate equipment, such as forklifts or pallet jacks. Conduct regular inventory counts and report discrepancies to the Warehouse Coordinator.
Inventory Management:
Assist in maintaining accurate inventory records through proper tracking and data entry. Notify the Warehouse Coordinator of low stock levels or damaged items requiring action.
Safety and Maintenance:
Ensure the warehouse is clean, organized, and free from hazards at all times. Follow all safety protocols and wear personal protective equipment (PPE) as required. Perform routine inspections of warehouse equipment and report maintenance needs.
Support Activities:
Assist with the preparation and organization of shipments, including labeling and documentation. Provide support for special projects or tasks as assigned by the Warehouse Coordinator or Supervisor. Participate in training sessions to improve skills and knowledge related to warehouse operations.
Education:
High School Diploma or equivalent.
Experience / Skills
/
Abilities:
Experience in a warehouse or logistics environment preferred. Knowledge of inventory control systems is a plus. Ability to operate forklifts or other warehouse equipment (certification preferred). Strong organizational and time-management skills. Basic computer skills for data entry and inventory tracking. Effective communication and teamwork abilities. Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs. and performing manual labor tasks. Job Expectations /

Work in a warehouse environment with exposure to varying temperatures. Stand, walk, bend, and lift for extended periods during the workday. Adhere to all safety and operational guidelines to ensure a secure workplace. Flexible schedule to accommodate peak periods or special projects as needed.
