In this vital role, you'll be the friendly face delivering products to customers while also supporting warehouse operations. Your enthusiasm for customer service combined with your ability to handle physical tasks will ensure smooth deliveries and efficient warehouse flow. This position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your driving skills and gain hands-on experience in logistics, all while being part of a supportive and fast-paced environment. Duties Safely operate trucks and commercial vehicles, including manual transmission models, to deliver goods to various locations following designated routes. Load and unload shipments using forklifts, pallet jacks, and manual handling techniques, ensuring items are secured and handled with care. Provide exceptional customer service by delivering products promptly, answering questions professionally, and ensuring customer satisfaction. Verify delivery details, complete necessary paperwork, and obtain signatures upon successful delivery. Assist in warehouse tasks such as inventory management, organizing stock, and preparing shipments for dispatch. Maintain cleanliness and safety standards within the warehouse and delivery vehicles at all times. Follow all safety protocols related to heavy lifting, moving goods, and operating equipment like forklifts and pallet jacks. Experience Prior experience in delivery driving or courier services is highly preferred, especially with box trucks or similar commercial vehicles. Demonstrated ability to handle heavy lifting and physically demanding tasks comfortably. Experience working in a warehouse environment with familiarity in loading/unloading procedures. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; commercial driver's license (CDL) or equivalent is a plus. Knowledge of route driving, load securing, and basic vehicle maintenance practices. Ability to operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment safely; certification is advantageous but not required.
