This role requires hands-on warehouse experience and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision. The ideal candidate will help oversee day-to-day warehouse activities, assist with team coordination, and ensure shipping, receiving, inventory, and delivery operations run efficiently and accurately. This position is ideal for someone who takes initiative, leads by example, and is ready to play a key support role within the warehouse operation, including providing backup route coverage when needed. Key Responsibilities Support the Warehouse Manager with daily warehouse operations Oversee shipping and receiving activities to ensure accuracy and efficiency Help coordinate workflow and provide guidance to warehouse team members Ensure accurate order processing, inventory handling, and documentation Perform data entry and maintain records using Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook Safely operate forklifts and reach trucks Provide backup route coverage as needed, by operating company 26,000 GVW delivery vehicles Maintain compliance with all company safety policies and transportation regulations Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment Step in as a lead point of contact when needed Qualifications Previous shipping and receiving experience required Prior lead, supervisory, or team lead experience preferred Strong computer and data entry skills, including Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook Forklift and reach truck experience required Valid California Class C driver's license with a clean driving record required Ability and willingness to operate 26,000 GVW delivery vehicles Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to lift 60+ pounds Ability to work independently while supporting a team-oriented environment Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to detail Compensation & Benefits We offer a competitive compensation package along with comprehensive company benefits, including: 401(k) 401(k) matching Health insurance Dental insurance Life insurance Paid time off Retirement plan Employee assistance program About MK Battery MK Battery provides high-quality, environmentally responsible sealed battery solutions for specialized deep-cycle and standby power applications.
