Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Warehouse Worker to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient operation of our warehouse by managing inventory, handling materials, and supporting the overall distribution process. This position requires a strong attention to detail, mechanical knowledge, and the ability to operate various warehouse equipment safely and effectively. Responsibilities Manage inventory control processes to ensure accurate stock levels. Operate heavy equipment including forklifts, reach trucks, and pallet jacks for loading and unloading goods. Perform picking and packing duties to fulfill customer orders accurately and efficiently. Utilize RF scanners and warehouse management systems (WMS) for tracking inventory movements. Assist in shipping and receiving operations, ensuring all materials are properly documented. Maintain a clean and organized work area in compliance with OSHA standards. Collaborate with warehouse supervisors to optimize workflow and improve operational efficiency. Conduct regular inspections of equipment such as cranes and other heavy machinery to ensure safe operation. Participate in training on warehouse management best practices, including packaging techniques and order fulfillment processes. Qualifications Able to work 2nd shift and weekends Previous warehouse experience is preferred, with a strong understanding of warehouse distribution processes. Knowledge of materials handling techniques and mechanical systems is advantageous. Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills for effective stocking and inventory control. Ability to lift heavy items (up to 50 pounds) repeatedly throughout the shift. Experience in manufacturing or construction environments is a plus.
