In this role, you will play a vital part in ensuring smooth warehouse operations by managing inventory, operating heavy equipment, and supporting order fulfillment processes. Duties Assist with inventory management, including stock counting, tracking, and reconciliation using warehouse management systems such as RF scanners and AS400. Operate heavy equipment such as reach trucks, forklifts, cranes, pallet jacks, and order pickers safely and efficiently for loading, unloading, and materials handling. Support shipping and receiving activities by loading and unloading trucks, verifying shipments against documentation, and preparing items for shipment through proper packaging and labeling. Conduct order picking, packing, and order fulfillment tasks to ensure timely dispatch of products. Maintain accurate inventory control by organizing stock in designated areas, stocking shelves, and conducting regular cycle counts. Follow OSHA safety standards and mechanical knowledge protocols to ensure a safe working environment for all team members. Collaborate with warehouse supervisors to optimize distribution processes and improve overall warehouse efficiency. Experience Prior experience working in a warehouse environment with exposure to warehouse distribution or manufacturing settings. Demonstrated ability to operate heavy equipment such as forklifts, reach trucks, cranes, or similar machinery; certification is preferred. Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS), RF scanners, AS400 or equivalent platforms for inventory tracking. Knowledge of inventory control procedures including stocking, order picking & packing, shipping & receiving. Experience with materials handling equipment like pallet jacks and mechanical tools used in construction or manufacturing environments is advantageous. Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to perform heavy lifting safely while adhering to OSHA guidelines. Previous warehouse supervisor experience or roles involving warehouse management systems will be considered a plus.
