Job Description
- Job Title: General Laborer
- Job Description
- This role involves performing a variety of manual labor tasks in a warehouse and shredding environment, including handling paperwork, operating basic equipment, and moving boxes and materials. You will work around conveyors and shredders, lifting and transporting items throughout the facility while maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
- Responsibilities
- + Handle and move paperwork and files using a tipper, transferring materials onto a conveyor that feeds into a shredder.
+ Lift, carry, and move boxes and materials weighing between 30 and 50 pounds on a consistent basis.
+ Use racks to stack boxes and push carts, including carts that may be difficult to maneuver, throughout the warehouse.
+ Perform general warehouse tasks such as packing, picking, loading, inventory support, and basic cleaning duties as needed.
+ Walk extensively through the warehouse to pull files and boxes according to production lists and daily work assignments.
+ Work safely around shredding equipment and conveyors, following all safety guidelines and procedures.
+ Meet production expectations measured in units per hour and total units completed over the month, contributing to performance-based bonus eligibility.
+ Maintain a clean and orderly work area, including proper disposal and organization of shredded materials and boxes.
+ Adapt to different tasks and areas within the facility, starting at the shredder location with the potential to move into broader warehouse responsibilities.
- Essential Skills
- + Ability to perform manual labor in a physically demanding environment.
+ Capability to lift and carry 30 to 50 pounds consistently throughout the shift.
+ Comfort working in a warehouse environment that involves extensive walking, pulling files, and exposure to dust.
+ Willingness to operate basic equipment such as a tipper and work around conveyors and shredders.
+ Reliability in meeting production expectations measured by units per hour and total monthly units.
+ Basic aptitude for general labor tasks, including picking, packing, loading, and cleaning.
- Additional Skills & Qualifications
- + Experience in warehouse, general labor, file clerk, inventory, packing, picking, and loading tasks is helpful but not required.
+ Ability to maneuver and push heavy carts and racks, even when they are difficult to handle.
+ Interest in learning different areas of warehouse operations and taking on additional responsibilities over time.
+ Openness to contract-to-hire arrangements with the potential for pay increases upon permanent hire.

- This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Corona, CA.
- Pay and Benefits
- The pay range for this position is $18.
00 - $18.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your jobclassification and length of employment.
