Job Description
Overview Join our mission driven warehouse team as a Warehouse Associate and become a vital part of our logistics and distribution operations! In this fast paced role, you will be responsible for ensuring smooth and efficient handling of produce, creating accurate orders and quality control. Your proactive approach and attention to detail will help us maintain high standards of order accuracy, safety, and customer satisfaction. This position offers an exciting opportunity to be part of a mission driven team that is changing our food sytems. Responsibilities Assist with order packing, and wrapping using pallet spinner stacker packer ,and pallet jacks Load and unload trucks efficiently while adhering to safety protocols. Utilize Local Food Market Place for printing cover sheets, and trouble shooting orders Maintain a clean, organized warehouse and adhere to all SOP's and Food Saftey Plan Weekly delivieries to school and prison sites using 16' or 20' box truck Maintain truck logs and a clean trucks weekly Follow all and implement all daily check lists Recieve incoming produce and report quaulity issues to the shift supervisor Qualifications Previous experience working in a warehouse environment Knowledge of produce varieties, uses , storeage and handling preferred Familiarity with warehouse operations including packing, loading and deliveries preferred Ability to operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment safely; forklift certification is a plus. Strong basic math skills for counting fullfilled orders. willingness to Learn Local Food marketplace Knowledge of safe food handling proceedures a plus Excellent organizational skills with keen attention to detail to ensure accuracy in inventory , order packing and truck loading. Good communication skills for collaborating with team members and supporting customer service efforts when out on a delivery route Experience driving 16' and 20' box trucksEmbark on a rewarding career where your contributions directly impact our operational excellence!
