Monday-Saturday Start Time:
5:00 AM We are seeking reliable and hardworking Loading/Unloading Associates to support daily warehouse and shipping operations. This position is responsible for safely loading and unloading freight, moving furniture and palletized boxes, securing cargo, and ensuring shipments are accurately prepared for transportation. Duties and Responsibilities Load and unload trucks, trailers, and shipping containers by hand or using material-handling equipment. Operate dollies, pallet jacks, and other equipment to safely move freight. Move furniture and freight to assigned loading doors. Handle, stage, and organize palletized boxes and other materials. Secure cargo using straps, bracing, padding, shrink wrap, and other protective materials to prevent damage. Verify shipment accuracy by checking items against manifests, Bills of Lading (BOLs), and pick lists. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe loading dock. Follow all company safety procedures and proper material-handling practices. Frequently lift and carry heavy objects weighing 50-75 pounds or more. Work efficiently in a physically demanding, fast-paced warehouse environment. Report damaged freight, shipment discrepancies, or unsafe conditions to supervisors. Perform other loading, unloading, and warehouse duties as assigned. Qualifications Ability to frequently lift and carry 50-75 pounds or more. Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, push, pull, and lift for extended periods. Ability to safely operate pallet jacks and dollies. Strong attention to detail when handling and verifying shipments. Dependable, punctual, and safety-conscious. Ability to work Monday through Saturday with a 5:00 AM start time. Previous warehouse, freight, moving, or loading/unloading experience is preferred.
