Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated Package Handler/Package Associate/Warehouse Associate/Packer/Production Packer to join our dynamic logistics and distribution team. Duties Load and unload shipments using material handling equipment such as forklifts and manual techniques, ensuring safe handling of goods. Pack products securely using appropriate packing materials, including automatic inserting machines when applicable. Sort shipments accurately according to destination, order specifications, and shipping guidelines. Prepare items for shipment by labeling, organizing, and verifying order details with precision. Maintain cleanliness and organization within the warehouse environment to promote safety and efficiency. Assist with inventory management through data entry into warehouse management systems and maintaining accurate records. Support mail distribution activities by processing incoming and outgoing mail efficiently. Operate warehouse equipment safely, including forklifts and other material handling machinery. Collaborate with team members to meet daily production goals while adhering to safety protocols. Perform outdoor work as needed during loading or unloading operations in various weather conditions. Qualifications Prior experience in warehouse operations, shipping & receiving, or materials handling is highly preferred. Familiarity with warehouse distribution processes and the operation of material handling equipment such as forklifts. Basic math skills for counting, measuring, and verifying shipments. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications for data entry and record keeping. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in filing, shipment sorting, and documentation. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently during load & unload activities. Experience with automatic inserting machines or mail processing is a plus. Excellent manual handling skills combined with a commitment to safety standards. Good communication skills for customer service interactions and team collaboration. Outdoor work experience is advantageous for outdoor loading/unloading tasks. This position is integral to maintaining efficient warehouse operations while supporting timely shipment processing. Pay:
