You'll be responsible for picking raw materials, ingredients, and packaging, staging them for production, and maintaining accurate inventory records. What You'll Do Receive and review the daily pick list issued through the WMS, ERP, or handheld scanner before starting any pick activity. Travel to pick locations using the route sequence assigned (discrete, batch, or zone pick) to minimize travel time and avoid commingling. Scan the bin or pallet location barcode before every pick to confirm the system location matches the physical location. Verify lot code and shelf life against the pick list, selecting material per FEFO (First Expire First Out) as the primary rule and FIFO as the fallback for non-dated items. Inspect every pallet or case for damage, leaks, swelling, or compromised seals; reject and report any nonconforming material before picking. Scan the item barcode and verify the picked quantity against the pick list line by line; never short or substitute without lead approval. Maintain 100 percent lot and traceability lot code (TLC) capture on every pick to support

compliance. Other duties task and responsibilities may be assigned at any time Knowledge and Skills Working knowledge of FIFO and FEFO rotation, lot traceability, and cycle counting (ABC). Proficient with handheld scanners and a WMS or ERP system (SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, or comparable). Strong attention to detail and accuracy; able to verify lot codes, expiration dates, and quantities at speed. Working knowledge of GMP, allergen control, sanitation, and FSMA 204
traceability requirements. Basic math and English literacy for reading pick lists, labels, and paperwork. Able to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, schedule-driven environment. Essential Job Functions Prolonged standing and walking Climbing Lifting, pushing, and pulling up to 50 pounds without assistance Bending, stooping, turning, and twisting Reaching above shoulder level or below waist level Safely operating sit-down and stand-up forklifts and electric pallet jacks Working in environments ranging from ambient warehouse conditions to refrigerated and freezer areas (35°F to -10°F) Vision and hearing sufficient to safely operate equipment and respond to alarms and verbal instructions Working on wet floors while wearing slip-resistant, waterproof footwear Reading and writing Work Environment Food manufacturing warehouse with ambient, refrigerated, and frozen storage zones. Exposure to varying temperatures, equipment noise, and occasional wet floors. Required PPE:
safety shoes, hairnet or beard cover, hearing protection, allergen-specific PPE where applicable. Shift work, weekends, and overtime may be required based on production demand. What We're Looking For High school diploma or GED preferred 1+ year of warehouse, pick/pack, or logistics experience (food/beverage preferred) Forklift/PIT certification or ability to obtain within 30 days Experience with handheld scanners and WMS/ERP systems Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment Work Environment Shift work, weekends, and overtime may be required.
