This energetic position offers an exciting opportunity to work with heavy equipment, utilize warehouse management systems, and contribute to a fast-paced distribution environment. Your mechanical aptitude, safety awareness, and ability to handle heavy lifting will help keep our operations running seamlessly. Duties Accurately pick and prepare materials using RF scanners and order picker equipment to fulfill shipping and production orders Operate heavy machinery such as forklifts, clamp trucks, cranes, and pallet jacks safely and efficiently in accordance with OSHA standards Load and unload materials from trucks using appropriate equipment while ensuring proper handling techniques to prevent damage or injury Maintain inventory accuracy by updating warehouse management systems during material retrieval and movement Assist in shipping & receiving processes by verifying shipments, inspecting goods, and documenting discrepancies or damages Support warehouse organization by stacking pallets, managing heavy loads, and ensuring clear pathways for safe movement of materials Follow all safety protocols related to heavy equipment operation, materials handling, and warehouse procedures to promote a safe working environment Qualifications Proven experience in warehouse distribution, order picking, or materials handling within a fast-paced environment Demonstrated ability to operate forklifts, clamp trucks, cranes, pallet jacks, and other heavy equipment safely (certifications preferred) Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot basic equipment issues Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS), RF scanners, and inventory control processes Prior experience in shipping & receiving operations or construction-related warehousing is advantageous Ability to perform heavy lifting consistently while maintaining proper safety techniques Knowledge of OSHA regulations related to warehouse safety and equipment operation Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail for accurate order picking and load/unload tasks This role offers an energetic work environment where your skills in heavy equipment operation, materials handling, and warehouse management will be valued.
