Shipping Supervisor Summary of Qualifications:

A Warehouse Associate is responsible for general warehouse labor including moving, organizing, and handling boxes to support daily operations, and as a Packer with daily functions that will support logistics and production in many facets. This individual will be trained cross-functionally on all aspects of the warehouse and production operation. The ideal candidate will be punctual, detail-oriented, trustworthy and willing to flex into a new role at any given moment. Performing a number of different roles related to material handling; such as manufacturing, packaging, taping, labeling, sorting, product counts, warehouse organization, dispatch assistance, order-filling, loading and more.

Responsibilities and Duties:

The Warehouse Associate - Packer responsibilities and duties included but are not limited to:

• Carries out all responsibilities in compliance with company policies and procedures. Fully complies with current Good Manufacturing Practice's (GMP's) and Environmental, Health and Safety regulations. - Performing general warehouse labor including moving, organizing, and handling boxes.
• Picking customer orders, shipping, and inventory organization, management and control
• Responsible for the efficient use of the organization's storage and distribution facilities
• Accurately receives goods, verifies items against the record of shipment, and inspects condition
• Responsible for inspection, identification, and delivery to stocking locations
• Pulls, packages, and stages customer orders for loading and shipping
• Represents the organization to customers, associates and leadership as needed
• Operate motorized and non-motorized material handling equipment in a safe manner
• Under direct supervision, handles and maintains flow of materials and products in manufacturing areas according to established guidelines.
• Performs all work in accordance with established safety standards and adheres to all safety policies, rules, regulations and procedures.
• Participate in daily meetings with team or other departments and attend Clinical Health Technologies compliance and safety trainings.
• Performs task with safety in mind and improving safety for others.
• Uses personal protective equipment as required.
• Communicates effectively with internal customers (i.e. team members, other departments) and external customers (drivers and customers).
• Maintain a clean and orderly work area
• Perform related duties as assigned or as the situation dictates.

Requirements:

• Must be a team player and also be able to work independently.
• Ability to handle high volume of work and adapt to a rapidly changing environment.
• Must be able to follow verbal and written instruction and communicate clearly and concisely both written and verbal.
• Ability to collaborate, communicates, and negotiates with others in an effective and professional manner.
• Be very analytical;
• Detail oriented a must;
• Basic computer use, knowledge, and skills.
• Basic mathematical skills (add, subtract, multiple and divide)
• Must have one to three years of warehouse experience
• Forklift Certification required ( - for loading and unloading shipments)
• Initiative to work with minimal instruction or direction.

Physical Demands:

• Must be flexible to change shift and/or schedule due to changing business needs.
• Ability to work overtime including 12-hour shifts and/or weekends.
• Must have the ability to regularly use hands to finger, handle or feel, stand for extended periods of time up to the duration of a shift, walk, sit, reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl, smell, occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
• Able to learn and apply departmental /or Quadrtech policies, procedures and rules;
• Ability to learn and apply Federal, State, and local laws, codes and regulations pertaining to material and product handling, workplace safety, etc.;
• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts, airborne particles and fumes and is frequently exposed to risk of electrical shock and vibration and periods of cold and hot temperatures.

The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
