We operate Peaceful Valley Farm & Garden Supply, GrowOrganic.com, and Annie's Annuals & Perennials, and our warehouse team helps move thousands of gardening, farming, seed, plant, and seasonal products to customers across the country. You will be trained across multiple warehouse functions, not limited to one repetitive task. As priorities change, you may help with order fulfillment, packing, inventory, receiving support, production projects, plant handling, or warehouse organization. For a strong performer, there may be an opportunity to continue working beyond the seasonal assignment based on business needs, although continued employment is not guaranteed. What You'll Do Pick and pull customer orders accurately using assigned pick lists and warehouse locations. Pack, quality-check, label, stage, and prepare plants, seeds, bulbs, garlic, garden supplies, and other products for shipment. Assist with customer pickup orders, priority orders, and fulfillment exceptions as directed. Count, inspect, stage, label, and put away incoming products after receiving direction and training. Replenish picking locations and organize backstock and seasonal inventory. Complete inventory counts, bin-location checks, transfers, labeling, tagging, consolidation, and organization projects. Build, assemble, repack, label, and complete warehouse work orders or production projects according to instructions. Handle plants and seasonal products according to established packing, storage, watering, and care procedures. Keep receiving, picking, packing, storage, staging, and work areas clean, organized, and safe. Complete routine trash, recycling, sweeping, cleanup, and housekeeping responsibilities. Move between assignments as order volume, deliveries, inventory needs, and seasonal priorities change. What We're Looking For Dependable attendance and punctuality for the full seasonal assignment. Strong attention to detail and the ability to work accurately at a steady, productive pace. Ability to follow written and verbal instructions, pick lists, work orders, and safety procedures. Basic counting, item-identification, and organizational skills. Willingness to learn multiple warehouse functions and adapt when priorities change. Ability to communicate promptly about shortages, damage, inventory discrepancies, incomplete work, or safety concerns. Ability to work independently and cooperatively as part of a team. Prior warehouse, fulfillment, shipping, receiving, inventory, production, plant handling, or similar hands-on experience is preferred but not required. Physical & Work Environment This is an active, hands-on position. Employees should expect to stand and walk for extended periods and regularly bend, reach, carry, push, pull, grasp, and move merchandise. The role regularly involves lifting and carrying items weighing 10-40 pounds and occasionally lifting items weighing up to 50 pounds, using assistance or material-handling equipment when appropriate. Work takes place in a working warehouse and may include indoor and outdoor areas affected by seasonal heat or cold, dust, noise, forklifts, pallet jacks, vehicles, loading areas, and other normal warehouse activity. Employees must follow all required safety procedures and use equipment only after appropriate training and authorization. What We Offer $20.00 per hour. Monday-Friday, 8:30 a.m.-5:00 p.m. schedule.
