Job Description
Overview Join our dynamic team as a Warehouse Associate and become a vital part of our fast-paced distribution operation! In this energetic role, you will be responsible for efficiently managing inventory, operating heavy equipment, and ensuring smooth warehouse distribution processes. Your proactive approach will help us meet customer demands, maintain safety standards, and uphold the highest levels of accuracy in order fulfillment. Responsibilities Safely operate heavy equipment including forklifts and pallet jacks to load, unload, and transport materials throughout the warehouse Manage inventory control using warehouse management systems (WMS) to ensure accurate stock levels and proper storage Perform product stocking, order picking, packing, and shipping & receiving tasks to fulfill customer orders efficiently and accurately Conduct regular inventory audits and cycle counts to maintain precise inventory records and prevent discrepancies Load and unload shipments with attention to safety protocols outlined by OSHA standards while handling heavy lifting tasks Utilize mechanical knowledge for troubleshooting equipment issues and performing basic maintenance on warehouse machinery Organizing warehouse to maximise space Abiding by all company safety and hyiene regulations In addition to having excellent written and verbal communication skills, our ideal candidate must be able to demonstrate physical fitness, with the ability to lift up to a maximum of 50 pounds Skills Extensive experience with inventory management systems. Proficiency in operating forklifts and pallet jacks. Strong understanding of warehouse distribution processes including shipping & receiving, order fulfillment, picking & packing Knowledge of OSHA safety standards and best practices for materials handling and heavy lifting Mechanical aptitude for troubleshooting equipment issues and performing basic repairs or maintenance Prior warehouse supervisor experience or leadership skills to support team coordination and workflow efficiency Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory control procedures to optimize stock accuracy The Epik culture is something we hold at our core and includes being trustworthy, passionate in all that we do, positive in nature, humble, and above all, being a team player.
