Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Warehouse Worker to join our logistics team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong work ethic, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to operate various warehouse equipment. As a Warehouse Worker, you will play a vital role in ensuring efficient warehouse operations, accurate inventory management, and timely order fulfillment. This position offers an opportunity to develop expertise in warehouse distribution processes within a dynamic and fast-paced environment. Responsibilities Load and unload shipments using equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts, adhering to safety protocols. Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment with precision and attention to detail. Maintain accurate inventory records using warehouse management systems and inventory management software. Assist in stock replenishment, stocking shelves, and organizing storage areas to optimize space utilization. Ensure compliance with shipping logistics standards, trade regulations, and international trade requirements. Perform data entry tasks related to order processing, shipping documentation, and inventory updates. Support warehouse operations by participating in regular cycle counts and inventory audits. Collaborate with team members to improve workflow efficiency and maintain a safe working environment. Qualifications Prior experience working in a warehouse or distribution center is highly preferred. Proficiency with warehouse management systems (WMS), ERP systems such as AS400 or similar platforms, and Microsoft Office applications. Strong understanding of inventory management principles and shipping & receiving procedures. Ability to operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and order pickers safely; certification is a plus. Basic math skills for counting, measuring, and calculating quantities accurately. Excellent organizational skills with keen attention to detail in stock handling and data entry tasks. Good communication skills to effectively coordinate with team members and support customer service efforts.
