Job Summary:

The Warehouse Associate plays a key function for the Multi Sales warehouse team and is responsible for keeping the warehouse organized and clean by picking, packing, and stocking products. Successful candidates will be self-motivated, and quality-focused with previous experience working in a warehouse environment. Responsibilities:

Inspect receiving load before signing BOL (bill of lading) Sort product based on packing list and purchase order Identify discrepancies on purchase order vs packing list Communicate discrepancies and damage on shipment Maintain accuracy and attention to detail during receiving and ensuring transfers/shipments are picked, packed, and shipped according to picking ticket specifications. Serve as a backup to shipping, stocking, and driving when necessary Use ERP system during receiving and to verify stock & location. Take ownership of the warehouse by addressing any issues (cleanliness, stock, product labeling, etc.) Move material using pallet jacks and forklift Commitment to safety and a hazard-free work environment Ability to work in a warehouse environment

Inside/Outside Conditions, Varied Temperature Changes, Minimal Chemical Hazards, Vibration, Dust, Vehicle Noise Requirements:

Ability to read a BOL (bill of lading) and packing list High School Diploma/ GED and or equivalent experience. Minimum of 3 years of experience in a warehouse environment is required. Strong oral and written communication skills. Strong interpersonal skills with a positive attitude. Ability to walk/stand/sit for long periods of time, bending, stooping, and squatting. Ability to reach, feel, grasp, grip, carry, push, and pull. Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds. Valid State driver's license. Authorized to work in the US.
