In this energetic role, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth flow of goods through various warehouse functions, including shipping, receiving, stocking, and order fulfillment. Your proactive approach and attention to detail will help us deliver exceptional service to our customers. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in warehouse management systems and equipment operation while contributing to a collaborative team environment. Responsibilities Safely operate equipment such as forklifts, reach trucks, pallet jacks, and order pickers to load, unload, and move inventory efficiently. Use RF scanners and warehouse management systems (WMS) to accurately track inventory levels, process shipments, and update stock records. Prepare orders by picking and packing items with precision for timely shipment, ensuring accuracy in order fulfillment. Manage shipping and receiving processes by verifying incoming and outgoing shipments against documentation. Stock shelves and organize inventory in designated areas to optimize space utilization and facilitate easy access. Assist with cycle counts, inventory audits, and stock replenishment using basic math skills to ensure data accuracy. Support warehouse distribution operations by loading trucks, unloading deliveries, and maintaining a clean, safe work environment. Qualifications Prior warehouse experience is preferred but not required; we value motivated individuals eager to learn! Certification or experience operating forklifts, reach trucks, pallet jacks, or MRPs (Material Requirements Planning systems) is highly desirable. Familiarity with warehouse distribution processes including picking & packing, order picking, shipping & receiving. Ability to use RF scanners and AS400 or similar warehouse management systems effectively. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail for accurate inventory management. Basic math skills for counting stock, verifying quantities, and processing orders accurately. Physical ability to stand for extended periods, lift heavy items safely, and perform load & unload tasks efficiently.
