Job Description
Job Summary Join our dynamic construction team as a Crane Operator and Material Handler, where you'll play a vital role in ensuring the safe, efficient movement of materials and equipment on-site. This energetic position combines skilled crane operation with hands-on material handling, supporting various construction projects. Your expertise will help keep projects on schedule while maintaining a safe and productive work environment. Duties Operate cranes safely and precisely to lift, move, and position heavy materials and equipment across construction sites Handle a variety of construction materials using loaders, backhoes, excavators, and front loader trucks Manage the loading and unloading of trucks such as dump trucks, water trucks, roll-off trucks, and tanker trucks Assist with the setup and breakdown of construction sites by organizing materials and equipment efficiently Conduct routine inspections of cranes and heavy machinery to ensure optimal operation and safety compliance Coordinate with team members to plan material deliveries and movements in alignment with project timelines Maintain accurate logs of material movements, equipment usage, and safety checks Requirements Proven experience operating cranes and heavy machinery on construction sites Mechanical knowledge related to construction equipment such as Caterpillar machinery, dozers, loaders, backhoes, excavators, and cranes Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with experience driving front loader trucks, dump trucks, water trucks, roll-off trucks or tanker vehicles Familiarity with construction site safety protocols and OSHA regulations Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting heavy loads and working at heights when necessary Strong communication skills to coordinate effectively with team members and supervisors Knowledge of various farm machinery or tankers is a plus but not mandatory Join us in building something great!
