• LABOR INTENSIVE

• We are a busy plastics machine shop in Long Beach, CA. We have an opening for a General (Manual) Laborer / Compression Molder. This is a full time position with some overtime. Our hours of operation are Monday through Thursday from 6:00 AM
• 3:30 PM and Friday 6:00 AM
• 10:00 AM. Any overtime will be worked on Fridays after 10:00 AM and possibly Saturdays 7:00 AM
• 12:00 PM.

Please note this job requires standing/moving 95% of the day.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Compression Molding Retrieve proper mold and powder to mold material according to specifications Operate press according to the specifications on the molding order Ability to meet daily production standards Prepare, clean and deburr parts in conformance with customer's standards and procedures Prepare parts for shipping Paint parts as needed Must be able to understand execute actions based on verbal and written instructions Ability to lift 75 pounds Ability to stand for the whole duration of the shift Ability to work well with others, managers. Able to work in machine shop / warehouse environment with moderate noise levels

Degree:

Language Ability:

Math Ability:

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.

Reasoning Ability:

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
