The Role We're hiring a Warehouse / Shipping & Receiving Technician to keep our Los Angeles operation running smoothly. You'll receive incoming shipments of medical and industrial gas cylinders, oxygen equipment, and durable medical equipment (DME); stage and prepare orders for our delivery fleet; ship outbound product to customers; and keep the warehouse organized, inventoried, and safe. You'll also occasionally hop behind the wheel for short runs — picking up product from suppliers or supporting our delivery team when we're slammed. This is a hands-on, physical role for someone who likes being on their feet, takes pride in a tidy and well-run warehouse, and wants steady work at a stable, family-owned company. Prior cylinder or DME experience is a plus, not a requirement — we will train you. What You'll Do

• Receive, inspect, and check in incoming shipments of gas cylinders, oxygen equipment, and DME against packing slips and POs
• Stage and prepare daily delivery orders for the field technician team
• Pick, pack, and ship outbound orders accurately and on time
• Operate forklift, pallet jack, and hand trucks to move product safely (training provided if needed)
• Properly handle, store, and rotate medical
• and industrial-grade gas cylinders per DOT/CGA safety standards
• Clean, inspect, and prep returned home medical equipment for reissue
• Maintain accurate inventory counts and assist with cycle counts and audits
• Keep the warehouse clean, organized, and OSHA-compliant
• Occasional driving — pick-ups from local suppliers, parts runs, and supporting the delivery team as needed
• Communicate with intake, delivery, and dispatch teams to keep orders moving What We're Looking For
• High school diploma or GED
• Valid California driver's license with a clean DMV record (we'll pull a driving abstract)
• Ability to lift, carry, and maneuver 50+ lbs repeatedly throughout the day, including handling gas cylinders
• Forklift experience or willingness to be trained and certified
• Strong attention to detail with shipping/receiving paperwork and inventory
• Dependable, punctual, and a good team player
• Basic computer skills for inventory and shipping software (we'll train you on our systems)
• Bilingual English/Spanish strongly preferred
• Prior warehouse, shipping/receiving, DME, gas/cylinder, or medical supply experience is a plus — not required
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screen
• Comfortable being trained on DOT hazmat and cylinder safety protocols Why CalOx
