This position plays a critical role in ensuring the efficient movement of product from warehouse inventory to customer shelves. The successful candidate will be responsible for executing warehouse operations, preparing orders for distribution, servicing assigned accounts, maintaining product availability, and supporting the overall efficiency of the company's daily operations. This role requires accountability, professionalism, attention to detail, physical capability, and operational discipline. Candidates are expected to work effectively in both warehouse and field environments while representing Tara Beverages professionally at all times.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Warehouse Operations Building, organizing, wrapping, and preparing pallets for daily distribution activities. Picking, staging, verifying, and preparing customer orders for delivery. Loading and unloading products safely and efficiently. Maintaining accurate product counts and verifying order accuracy. Organizing warehouse inventory and supporting proper inventory rotation practices. Maintaining warehouse cleanliness, organization, and safety standards. Identifying and reporting inventory discrepancies, product damage, equipment concerns, or operational issues. Executing warehouse assignments and operational priorities as directed by management. Distribution & Route Operations Safely operating company Sprinter vehicles in compliance with all traffic laws and company policies. Executing assigned delivery routes accurately and efficiently. Delivering products according to company procedures and requirements. Maintaining delivery schedules and route productivity standards. Obtaining delivery confirmations, customer signatures, and required documentation. Maintaining company vehicles in a clean, organized, and professional condition. Following all company safety, driving, and operational procedures. Communicating professionally with store owners, managers, and retail personnel. Monitoring inventory conditions and identifying replenishment opportunities within customer accounts. Communicating current product availability, promotional programs, and distribution opportunities when appropriate. Assisting in maintaining organized shelf presentation and product visibility. Reporting account concerns, inventory conditions, account activity, and customer feedback to management. Representing Tara Beverages in a professional and courteous manner during all customer interactions. Technology & Operational Systems Utilize company-issued software, mobile applications, and operational systems accurately. Complete required digital workflows, delivery records, and operational documentation. Learn and adapt to new technology platforms, procedures, and operational requirements. Maintain accurate electronic records and documentation. QualificationsRequired Qualifications Valid California Driver's License with a clean driving record. Ability to safely operate Sprinter vehicles. Forklift and pallet jack experience. Must be able to lift and carry 50+ lbs and use dollies/hand trucks for heavier loads. Strong English communication skills. Professional communication and customer service abilities. Technology and software competency. Strong organizational and time-management skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Reliable transportation and dependable attendance. Professional attitude and strong work ethic. Demonstrate accountability and ownership of assigned responsibilities.
Pay:
$18.75 - $20.00 per hour
