Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated Warehouse Associate to join our dynamic logistics team. This role involves supporting warehouse distribution, inventory control, and shipping and receiving operations to ensure seamless flow of materials and products. The ideal candidate will possess strong warehouse management skills, experience with heavy equipment operation, and a commitment to safety regulations. As a Warehouse Associate, you will play a vital role in maintaining efficient warehouse operations and supporting order fulfillment processes. Duties Operate various material handling equipment including reach trucks, forklifts, pallet jacks, and cranes to load, unload, and transport goods safely within the warehouse. Assist with inventory management by conducting stock counts, updating inventory management software, and ensuring accurate record-keeping using systems such as AS400 or Warehouse Management System (WMS). Support order picking and packing activities by accurately selecting items using pickers or order picker machines, preparing shipments in compliance with safety protocols. Maintain a clean and organized work environment by adhering to OSHA standards and safety regulations; utilize personal protective equipment (PPE) appropriately. Participate in shipping & receiving tasks by verifying incoming shipments against purchase orders, inspecting for damages, and documenting receipt details. Perform manual handling tasks involving heavy lifting while following proper techniques to prevent injuries. Collaborate with warehouse supervisors to optimize logistics workflows, improve inventory control processes, and ensure timely order fulfillment. Qualifications Proven warehouse experience with familiarity in warehouse operations, distribution, or logistics environments. Ability to perform basic math calculations for inventory counts, measurements, and order processing. Demonstrated ability to handle manual tasks involving heavy lifting while adhering to safety protocols. Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail; capable of managing multiple priorities efficiently. Technical proficiency in operating equipment and software relevant to warehouse functions.
