Job Description In this position you will work from written and/or oral instructions including purchase orders, procedures, and all forms relative to the receipt, issuance and shipping of supplies, parts and stock. Day Shift

  • Friday) This Job Is For You If You can receive unload, store, verify kits, distribute, and/or ship stock, materials, supplies, tools, equipment and other items necessary for business support including chemicals, gases and solvents.
You can unpack and examine shipments for damaged goods and verifies goods against bills of lading, purchase orders or packing slips. You can record goods received. You can notify Supervision on any damaged, excess or misdirected goods and processes paperwork accordingly. You can issue and verify inventories per instructions using computer terminal, min/max levels and other records. You can notify supervision when levels fall below accepted minimums. You can follow all safety standards. Including all chemical handling safety procedures in the storage, safekeeping, handling and disposal of all material/inventory. You can perform miscellaneous related duties, such as: a) related work operations incidental to above tasks, b) completes paperwork related to tasks, c) assists higher labor grade personnel and lower labor grade personnel as required, d) minor housekeeping. Job Requirements Must have successfully completed the training program for the licensing of in-plant mobile equipment operators and remain a holder of an active permit. Must use mobile material handling equipment including but not limited to forklift, pallet jack and chain hoists.
