Job Description

Adecco is assisting a local client recruiting for Warehouse clerk in Oceanside, Ca. This warehouse position is a temp to hire opportunity with a growing company! Warehouse clerk positions require candidates to manage inventory flow, from receiving and storing goods to pick and pack, and shipping customer orders, while maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work environment and ensuring accurate stock records using warehouse equipment and systems.   • ! Responsibilities for Warehouse clerk include but are not limited to:
  • Receive, inspect, and verify incoming raw materials and packaging supplies
  • Accurately enter deliveries into inventory systems and maintain real-time stock levels
  • Organize materials in designated storage locations (dry, refrigerated, and frozen)
  • Conduct routine inventory counts and assist with cycle counts and reconciliations
  • Maintain clean, organized, and efficient storage areas across all warehouse locations
  • Ensure proper rotation of inventory (FIFO) and adherence to food safety standards
  • Optimize layout and storage systems to improve accessibility and workflow
  • Pick, stage, and prepare bulk frozen orders for shipment
  • Build and consolidate pallets for efficient freight movement
  • Create and apply shipping labels and documentation
  • Coordinate shipments between main facility and offsite frozen storage
  • Ensure all outbound orders meet quality and accuracy standards Candidates must meet the following requirements to be considered for this Warehouse clerk position:
  • 1-3 years of warehouse, logistics, or inventory experience (food production a plus)
  • Forklift certification (or willingness to obtain)
  • Experience working in refrigerated and/or frozen environments preferred
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work on your feet for extended periods
  • Basic computer skills (inventory systems, spreadsheets, shipping platforms)

  • $21.
