General Laborer

Our client, a well-known fruit processing and food manufacturing company, is looking for General Laborers to join their team in Oxnard, CA . In this role, you will rotate through various production stations supporting both heavy labor and fruit sorting operations in a fast-paced, food-safe environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Rotate through multiple production stations including Liner, Pusher, Filler, Palletizer, Dumper, Crate Washer, and Drum Washer Operate production equipment including palletizers, pallet conveyors, and related machinery Lift, move, and stack drums and crates throughout the shift at required production rates Safely handle cleaning chemicals during crate and drum washing operations Use both hands to sort and inspect fruit on the production line, removing defective or unacceptable product Direct rejected berries to appropriate containers and immediately notify supervisors of any foreign objects or food safety concerns Stop the production line when necessary to maintain food safety standards Follow all PPE requirements including gloves and sleeves; replace after every break, lunch, or restroom visit

Requirements:

Previous packinghouse or food processing experience preferred Ability to lift and handle heavy drums and crates repeatedly throughout the shift Ability to work around cleaning chemicals Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify fruit quality defects Ability to stand and maintain production pace for extended periods

Pay & Schedule:

Pay Rate:

$17.75 per hour

Day Shift:

Monday through Saturday, 8:00 AM - 6:30

PM Night Shift:
