  • Mission-Critical Manufacturing We are hiring an experienced, high-accountability Senior Material Handler who understands urgency, takes ownership of their stockroom, and knows how to keep a manufacturing floor moving without excuses.
At Microwave Power Products (MPP), material flow is directly tied to production performance. When inventory is accurate and kits are ready, we ship on time. When it's not, then production stops. Located in Palo Alto, California, MPP has more than 70 years of RF manufacturing expertise and is now part of TransDigm Group (
NYSE:
TDG). We operate in a fast-paced aerospace and defense environment where precision, organization, and follow-through matter every day. If you are someone who sees problems before others do — and fixes them — this role is for you.
YOUR DAY-TO-DAY
(Role Summary) You will own the daily flow of materials from receiving through production delivery. You will maintain inventory integrity inside JDE, execute cycle counts proactively, and resolve discrepancies before they disrupt manufacturing. Production depends on your accuracy. Leadership depends on your reliability.
YOU WILL BE ACCOUNTABLE FOR
(Responsibilities) Receiving and accurately transacting incoming materials daily in JDE Executing disciplined put-away processes within assigned stockrooms Picking and staging production kits with speed and precision Delivering kits to the manufacturing floor on time, every day Performing daily cycle counts and maintaining high inventory accuracy Identifying, investigating, and resolving inventory discrepancies Maintaining organized, clean, and production-ready stockrooms Partnering with manufacturing and planning teams to prevent material shortages Driving continuous improvement within material handling processes Supporting operations and other supply chain directives, as needed
YOU ARE THE RIGHT PERSON IF YOU HAVE THESE PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS 6
to 10 years of material handling experience in a warehouse or manufacturing environment Are highly confident working in an ERP system (JDE is a plus) Have a track record of maintaining strong inventory accuracy Bring supervisory or lead experience (a strong plus) Take pride in organization, discipline, and ownership Have a strong sense of urgency without sacrificing accuracy Show up consistently and get the job done At least a high school diploma or equivalent
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
Ability to lift and move materials weighing 50+ lbs Frequent standing, walking, bending, and material handling Safe use of carts, pallet jacks, and lifting equipment Repetitive movement associated with warehouse operations This position may involve access to information subject to U.S. export control laws (ITAR/EAR). Access to certain controlled information may be limited to individuals who qualify as "U.S. persons" (generally U.S. citizens, lawful permanent residents, and certain protected individuals). Non-U.S. persons may still apply; however to be eligible for the role, access to controlled information may require U.S. government authorization. Applicants must be able to comply with applicable export control requirements. For security clearance position, the candidate must be a US citizen with the ability to obtain a U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) Security Clearance as required, holding a security clearance is a plus.
WHAT WE OFFER
Hourly pay based on experience: $28 to $35 Commuter benefits within the Stanford Research Park
