Machine Operator / General Labor Connect Staffing - 5.0 Placentia, CA Job Details Full-time $20 an hour 2 hours ago Benefits Health insurance Dental insurance Referral program Qualifications High school diploma or GED Full Job Description Connect Staffing is hiring a Converting Operator/ General Labor for a vinyl graphics and converting manufacturing facility in Placentia, CA. This is a temp-to-hire overnight position paying $20/hr. In this role, you will assemble boxes for shop orders, pack finished goods, and assist slitter operators in the converting department. This is a long-term opportunity with overtime available.
Pack finished goods with labels and required materials for outbound shipment.
Locate and stage raw materials needed for packaging operations.
Assist slitter operators with converting department tasks as directed.
Use an RF scanner to locate and track materials throughout the facility.
Minimum RequirementsMinimum 6 months of experience in a manufacturing, production, or converting environment.
High school diploma or GED.Preferred QualificationsExperience operating or assisting with slitter machines or similar converting equipment.
Familiarity with box making machines or packaging equipment.
Experience in a vinyl, film, label, or flexible materials manufacturing environment.
Experience using RF scanners for material tracking or inventory.
Experience packing, labeling, or staging finished goods for shipment.
