POSITION SUMMARY

The Warehouse Worker is responsible for performing a variety of manual tasks associated with the acquisition, storage, and distribution of food and other donated products including pulling orders, unloading deliveries, operating warehouse equipment, and general maintenance and cleanup. Responsibilities Operate forklifts, reach trucks, pallet jacks, and RF scanners to move and organize inventory efficiently Assist with order picking and packing using warehouse management systems (WMS) and RF scanners Load and unload shipments safely while adhering to safety protocols Stock shelves and organize products for easy access and accurate inventory management Support shipping and receiving processes by verifying shipments against documentation Utilize basic math skills to count, verify quantities, and prepare orders for dispatch Maintain a clean, organized warehouse environment to promote safety and efficiency Requirements Two professional references required upon request Prior warehouse experience or familiarity with warehouse distribution environments preferred Valid forklift certification or willingness to obtain certification upon hire Experience with warehouse management systems (WMS) or AS400 is a plus Ability to operate reach trucks, pallet jacks, and order pickers safely and effectively Knowledge of shipping & receiving procedures and order fulfillment processes Strong attention to detail with good organizational skills Basic math skills for counting and verifying inventory quantities Feeding America Riverside|San Bernardino is a drug and tobacco free workplace.
