Our ECCO Supply™ division offers comprehensive wholesale distribution services for Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) supplies and equipment. With sales branches situated in manufacturing and distribution hubs across Western and Central Canada, we are now extending our team into the United States. POSITION SUMMARY
The Warehouse Associate will be responsible for all functions associated with material warehousing including delivering product, picking orders, shipping and receiving. The Warehouse Associate will perform all duties in a timely and orderly fashion to the best of their abilities and with the utmost due care, integrity and professionalism. This role is the gateway to a future career for an individual with the right motivation, drive and initiative.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Adhere to shipping and receiving policies, procedures and regulatory compliance procedures Receive all manufacturing and resale products accurately in a timely fashion and in compliance with ECCO's receiving procedures Maintain the warehouse, receiving areas, and yard in a clean and organized manner; fill pick bins as necessary and as directed Perform general physical activities in order to load, unload, sort and move shipments by hand or using material handling equipment Pick/ship goods to customers in an efficient and accurate manner Ensure proper documentation is supplied with each shipment; this includes packing, sealing, and labeling materials to prepare for shipping Fill out/prepare picking tickets Assist with loading trailers, preparing and shipping LTL orders as necessary Deliver product and/or supplies and other merchandise from the warehouse to different locations Ensure warehouse is appropriately stocked at all times Report any maintenance requirements, accidents, incidents, and near-misses immediately to your supervisor Due to the dynamic nature of this Company, the duties and responsibilities may reasonably change from time to time.
ABOUT THE IDEAL CANDIDATE
High school diploma or equivalent Must have forklift experience Physically capable of lifting up to 50lb Ability to work independently with minimal supervision in a busy environment; as well as ability to work within a team Strong sense of time organization and urgency Good written and verbal communication skills Desire to be a long term employee and contribute to the company's overall success
