Job Description
Job Overview Join our dynamic team as a Loader/Unloader and be a vital part of our warehouse operations! In this energetic role, you will be responsible for efficiently loading and unloading shipments, ensuring materials are handled safely and accurately. Your proactive approach will help maintain smooth warehouse flow, support shipping and receiving processes, and uphold safety standards. This position offers an exciting opportunity to develop skills in heavy equipment operation, materials handling, and warehouse management systems while contributing to a fast-paced distribution environment. Duties Safely load and unload freight using equipment such as forklifts, clamp trucks, pallet jacks, and cranes Perform heavy lifting tasks to move materials within the warehouse or onto trucks Operate heavy equipment with mechanical knowledge to ensure safe handling of goods Use RF scanners and warehouse management systems to accurately track inventory and update records Assist with order picking using pickers and ensure correct items are loaded or unloaded Support shipping & receiving activities by verifying shipments against documentation Maintain cleanliness and organization of the warehouse work area to promote safety and efficiency Experience Previous warehouse experience or related construction background preferred Familiarity with warehouse distribution, order picker operation, and heavy equipment handling required Knowledge of OSHA safety standards for materials handling and heavy machinery operation is highly desirable Experience with forklift certification, crane operation, clamp truck, or pallet jack is a plus Mechanical knowledge related to warehouse equipment and systems is advantageous Prior experience in shipping & receiving roles or warehouse supervision enhances candidacy Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently in a fast-paced environment Join us to be part of a vibrant team dedicated to operational excellence!
