Job Description

Night Shift - Material Hander
REQUIREMENTS
Operation of forklift and/or pallet jack in a safe, efficient and precise manner Basic math skills (add, subtract, multiply & divide) Communications skill Work in a 32-36°F coldbox environment and outdoors in all weather conditions Work Monday to Saturday and occasional Sundays Knowledge of scan gun, tectrol machine, pallet strapper, etc. a plus Safely lift up to 50 pounds Regular and consistent attendance mandatory Work in a fast-paced team-oriented environment while maintaining a positive attitude
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
Perform pre-op inspection of forklift, complete inspection report(s) and report any issues to supervision Operate a forklift in a safe, efficient and precise manner for miscellaneous forklift duties Troubleshoot & resolve Tectrol machine issues via control panel to assure proper operation of equipment Notify supervision of any technical and/or maintenance issues with tectrol machine Merge partial pallets of like product (weighing up to 50 lbs.) - involves manual stacking/palletizing Assist in various basic duties, such as strapping, tagging, prepping product, etc. Pick, palletize, and pre-stage orders Perform all General Labor essential job functions Maintain all work areas clean Follow all verbal and written instructions from company supervision Understand and follow all company rules and regulations Miscellaneous duties and tasks as assigned by
