Job Description

Summary:
The Warehouse Worker is responsible for receiving, storing, handling, and shipping paints, coatings, powder coatings, abrasives, solvents, and related materials. This position ensures accurate inventory control, safe material handling, and timely order fulfillment while maintaining compliance with safety and environmental regulations. Key Responsibilities Receive, inspect, and unload incoming shipments. Verify quantities and condition of materials against purchase orders and packing slips. Store materials in designated warehouse locations according to safety requirements. Pick, pack, and prepare customer orders for shipment. Load and unload trucks using forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment. Maintain accurate inventory records and assist with cycle counts and physical inventories. Label, organize, and track hazardous and non-hazardous materials. Follow all OSHA, EPA, and company safety procedures related to paints, coatings, solvents, and chemicals. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment. Assist production personnel by staging materials and supplies as needed. Complete shipping and receiving documentation accurately. Report damaged materials, inventory discrepancies, and safety concerns to management. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Previous warehouse, shipping/receiving, or industrial materials handling experience preferred. Forklift certification or ability to obtain certification. Ability to read packing slips, shipping documents, and inventory records. Basic computer skills for inventory management systems. Knowledge of hazardous materials handling is a plus. Physical Requirements Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds regularly. Ability to stand, walk, bend, and reach throughout the workday. Ability to work in warehouse environments with varying temperatures. Ability to safely operate forklifts and warehouse equipment. Desired Skills Attention to detail and accuracy. Pay:
$16.50 - $22.00 per hour
