• The Material Handler position in San Diego, CA is a vital role responsible for providing shipping, receiving, storage, order fulfillment, and data entry services for finished goods, inventory, and equipment at the assigned facility(s). The position requires maintaining a high level of quality to ensure customers receive the correct product in a timely manner.
• Responsibilities
• + Pick, pack, sort, arrange, count, store, and process items for storage and/or shipment according to established procedures and customer requirements.

+ Receive materials and/or finished goods daily, ensuring the quality, type, and amount received are correct and documentation is present. + Safely operate distribution equipment as required. + Follow Environmental Health and Safety (EH&S) practices and complete necessary training. + Respond to customer service and external department inquiries regarding order requirements and fulfillment issues. + Operate DELL Tablets for transactions. + Communicate effectively with internal personnel and provide excellent customer service. + Recognize deviations from accepted practices and help solve minor problems.

• Essential Skills
• + Functional knowledge of shipping, receiving, and inventory control procedures. + Ability to understand, interpret, calculate, and analyze team metrics. + Good communication and customer service skills. + Proficiency in operating a forklift and pallet jack. + Competence in material handling and inventory control.
• Additional Skills & Qualifications
• + High school diploma or equivalent required. + Ability to work effectively on the computer.

• Work Environment
• The position operates Monday through Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM, with some overtime. The work environment is structured to ensure safety and efficiency, requiring adherence to EH&S practices.

• This is a Contract position based out of San Diego, CA.
• Pay and Benefits
• The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your jobclassification and length of employment.
