Warehouse Worker with Class B CDL driver capabilitiesWe are looking for a Warehouse Worker with driver capabilities to participate in our warehouse operations and activities. Warehouse Worker responsibilities include storing materials, picking, packing and scanning orders. As driver one needs to operate vehicles and transport cargo and/or passengers for our company. As a driver, you must have a safe driving record, follow all state and national driving laws, rules, and regulations. You will also be involved in the general maintenance of vehicle upkeep and cleanliness.

Warehouse ResponsibilitiesPrepare and complete orders for delivery or pickup according to schedule (load, pack, wrap, label, ship)Receive and process warehouse stock products (pick, unload, label, store)Perform inventory controls and keep quality standards high for auditsKeep a clean and safe working environment and optimize space utilizationComplete diary logs into inventoryReport any discrepanciesCommunicate and cooperate with supervisors and coworkersOperate and maintain preventively warehouse vehicles and equipmentAble to driver vehicles for delivery requirements at timesFollow quality service standards and comply with procedures, rules and regulationsAble to work as a teamplayer within the Warehouse team and environment

Driver Responsibilities:

Class B CDL driver license preferredPractice safe driving habitsFollow all state and national safety regulations and standardsAccurately follow routes, maps, and directionsOpen vehicle doors and assist passengersLoad cargo and baggageKeep exterior of vehicle clean and presentableMaintain vehicle equipment; replace oil, fill gas tank, perform general motor vehicle maintenance as needed for safetyClean windows, windshields, and mirrors as neededKeep interior of vehicle clean of debris and clutterLoad and unload vehicleCollect payments, document amount, and offer receipts when necessaryComplete documentation such as logs, mileage, or cargo and passenger reportsFollow schedules and rerouting in a timely manner when faced with traffic or congestionRequirements and skillsProven working experience as a Warehouse WorkerFamiliarity with modern warehousing practices and methodsGood organizational and time management skillsPhysical stamina requiredBasic math, reading, and computer skillsAble to use ladders, clean ground level areasConstant standing and walkingDemonstrate safe driving practicesAble to follow verbal directions, read maps, follow GPSAble to work well aloneReliable and punctual with dedicated professionalism to job and dutiesAble to adapt to changing schedules or routinesExcellent time management skillsAble to assist passengers when neededOrganized and able to follow a scheduleValid driver's license and clean driving record

Additional Information:

Lift materials, final products, and items packed for shipment or deliveryFrequent lifting/pushing/pulling objects up to 10-15 lbs, occasionally lifting/pushing/pulling objects up to 50 lbs, rarely lifting/pushing/pulling objects up to 100 lbs (with assistance) or using a hoist and stand for long hoursAble to work in different locations where needed.

Understanding of hygiene and food safety Rules.

This is a part-time post. Attendance will be required in line with the business requirements, including at weekends, holidays and in the early mornings as well as evenings, based on rotating scheduling.
